Color Temperature
A measurement in Kelvin (K) that describes the 'warmth' or 'coolness' of light. Lower values (2700–3000K) are warm/golden, higher values (5500–6500K) are cool/daylight.
What is Color Temperature?
Color temperature profoundly affects how products appear in photographs. Warm light (3000K) flatters skin tones and wood products. Daylight (5500K) is neutral and works well for most products. For product color accuracy — especially critical for clothing and makeup — standardizing your color temperature at 5500–6500K (daylight) produces the most consistent, accurate color reproduction.
E-Commerce Relevance
