A standardized mathematical model (such as sRGB or Adobe RGB) that defines how colors are represented in digital images to ensure consistency across different devices and displays.
What is Color Profile?
For e-commerce product photography, sRGB is the correct color profile for web use. Images in other profiles (Adobe RGB, ProPhoto RGB) may display with desaturated or shifted colors on web browsers. Always export final e-commerce images in sRGB color profile. Product images where color accuracy is critical (fashion, beauty) should be captured in RAW and converted to sRGB with calibrated monitor profiling.
